Petwood Hotel award Cycle Friendly Accreditation by Cycle Lincolnshire

We are very pleased to announce that today we have been awarded our Cycle Lincolnshire Accreditation as a Cycle Friendly location in the county. With our dedicated secure cycle storage and facilities alongside our Cycle And Go packages, the Petwood is the perfect place for exploring Bomber County on two wheels. 

Our cycle storage has everything you need to keep your bike safe and on the road during your cycling holiday. We have provided an area for changing our of your wet and muddy clothes after a long day riding and clothes airers and a shoe rack for your items to dry. You will also find buckets, brushes and cloths so you can clean down your bike after your rides if required.  Whilst we know that most cyclists carry their own tools kits, we have also provided pumps, tools and a puncture repair kit should you need it. 

Inside the cycle storage, there is a rack for you to secure your bicycle to with your own lock. The storage also has its own power supply so you can charge your mobile and GPS devices if required.

When you come to stay with us, if you wish to use our cycle storage, you will be given your own key to be able to access the storage at any time so you can come and go as you please. There is a deposit of £10 for the key which is paid when you check in and this is refunded to you at the end of your stay. We will ask you to sign a log noting your name and room number when you are issued with the key for incerased security.

Lincolnshire is one of the best counties to explore on two wheels and Cycle Lincolnshire has some fantastic resources to help you make the most of your stay. We will also be working with some great partners over the coming months to develop some aviation related cycle routes for residents to download onto their GPS devices and see some of the fantastic heritage sites we have here.
